Window Treatments
Planning your window treatments for your new build or just updating your existing window treatments. In this intimate chat we will be talking about what is the best product to put on your windows considering aspects such as, insulation, sun damage and design aesthetics, because let’s face it, we still want it to look beautiful. Margaret will discuss all types of treatments from curtains to motorized blind and how to be prepared, especially for a new build as window treatments are often an afterthought. Margaret will also be available for questions after the talk.

Understanding where furniture is to be placed in a new build during the planning process, is a very important part of designing a home. Knowing how a particular sofa is going to fit in a space and being aware of spatial planning is an integral part of this process. Understanding your furniture placement early in the process can help you from buying unnecessary items. Planning your room or home is imperative. . Let's not forget the finishing touches; styling up a room is definitely something that creates a great feeling. I will give you a few tips and demonstrations on styling for your home, keeping in mind the practical side of life. Make sure you bring in plans or photos so we can talk about how I can help you.

Do you find yourself standing in front of the paint selections at Bunnings and not knowing what colour to pick? In this intimate workshop, Margaret will give you tips and tricks on how to pick the right paint for your space. She will also go through some of the colour trends for this year. Please bring in some photos of the area and I can help you make the best decisions for your space.

Building a New Home
Building a new home can be quite overwhelming. Often there is a huge case of decision fatigue when you are building or renovating and things can often be overlooked. In this session, Margaret will go through a few factors that need to be considered when building a home including considering the flow of the house. She also touches on some ways to create an impact without having to spend a fortune with your building selections. So please bring in your plans as this will be a very interactive session.
